Revisit the Crown Entertainment Complex, where the international names of fine dining have been changing addresses and opening new ventures. Neil Perry has extended his empire with Spice Temple, a modern restaurant specialising in regional Chinese cuisine. Bistro Guillaume reopened on the former Brasserie site in early 2011, while award-winning chef Donovan Cooke has taken up the reins at The Atlantic, a new seafood mega-eatery which also opened early 2011.

In the CBD, sample the authentic French food that is on the menu at PM24, a new collaboration launched by George Calombaris with acclaimed chef Philippe Mouchel. Guy Grossi's empire continues to grow with the opening of Merchant, a Venetian-inspired casual osteria that you can find in the Rialto Towers forecourt.

Bringing the tastes of Hong Kong to Melbourne via Paris, restaurateur Edward Ng has opened Duck Duck Goose at QV. Combining both French and Chinese cuisine, Duck Duck Goose offers diners affordable Yum Cha, French cuisine and 26 varieties of champagne.

The Woolshed Pub at Central Pier has recently restyled its upstairs dining room and introduced a new menu created by Donovan Cooke. Here you can enjoy the finest seasonal produce and the panoramic views of the Docklands Harbour and Melbourne's cityscape.
